§ 22-39. Smoking prohibited.

(a)

It shall be unlawful for any person to use tobacco in any form, including without limitation cigarettes, cigars, pipes, e-cigarettes, or smokeless tobacco in any part of a city park, recreation facility, or multi-use trail corridor.

(b)

The City will assist the Newton County recreation commission in the installation and maintenance of appropriate signage notifying the public of the restrictions set forth in subsection (a) of this section.

(c)

The City, in conjunction with the Newton County recreation commission, will promote the use of the quit line, a free service offered by the department of community health.
