§ 34-59. Speed zone schedule.

(a)

Generally. Based on an engineering and traffic investigation as prescribed by law, the maximum speed on Highway 81 shall be 35 miles per hour or 45 miles per hour (depending on the segment described in the tables of this section), on East Richardson Street shall be 30 miles per hour, and on all other streets in the City shall be 25 miles per hour, as more specifically set forth in the two tables in subsections (b) and (c) of this section.

School zone hours. School zone hours for purposes of applicable maximum speed are effective on school days only from 45 minutes prior to school commencement time to 15 minutes after school commencement time and from 15 minutes prior to school dismissal time to 45 minutes after school dismissal time.
