§ 36-5. Deposit.

A deposit or suitable guarantee approximately equal to twice the average monthly bill may be required of any customer before utility service is supplied. Upon termination of service, the deposit may be applied by the City against unpaid bills of the customer. If any balance remains after such application is made, such balance shall be refunded to the customer.
