§ 2-48. Administrative authority and responsibility.

When this city Code of Ordinances requires administration, the responsibility and authority for such administration shall rest with the City Manager as principal administrative officer of the City and ultimately the Mayor as chief executive officer of the City, as provided in articles II and III, respectively, of the City Charter, except as may be otherwise specifically provided for in this chapter.
